Editorial policy
How we approach sourcing, bylines, corrections and practical advice.
Scope and sourcing
Our focus is useful, non-political guidance for everyday life. Articles link to relevant official resources when available. A reference supports the topic described; it is not an endorsement of this publication or a claim that every sentence has been independently reviewed by that organisation.
Claims and examples
Illustrative amounts are labelled as examples. We avoid guaranteed savings, earnings, health outcomes or equipment lifespans. Rates, admission dates, product terms and local rules should be checked with the responsible authority before acting.
Bylines and dates
Guides use the Editorial Desk byline. Article pages show the original publication date and the date of the current revision. Reading times are estimates based on the visible article, not a claim about its depth.
Corrections
Send a correction to [email protected] with the article link, the passage and a reliable source where possible. We assess the issue and update the article when warranted. Significant factual corrections should be described in an article note.
Commercial material
This edition contains no paid placements, affiliate links or advertisements. Any future sponsored material must be identified clearly. Photographs are illustrative and should not be read as evidence of a reported event.
