Start with the essentials
Ask the child which topics are difficult and check recent classwork. Use material matched to their current level rather than adding more worksheets indiscriminately. Brief, supported practice is often easier to sustain than an ambitious schedule.
What you can do
- Use official NCERT or school-recommended material and local library resources.
- Try a simple supervised activity using safe household materials.
- Speak to the teacher if a difficulty persists rather than assuming the child needs more pressure.
Keep in mind
Adapt the pace for the child’s age and needs. Keep experiments away from mains electricity, flames and hazardous chemicals.
