Start with the essentials
Choose common situations from your job: confirming an address, explaining a delay or checking an order. Prepare short phrases and practise them aloud. Good service also means listening carefully and admitting when you need to check something.
What you can do
- Practise one realistic conversation each day with a colleague or trusted friend.
- Repeat numbers, dates and addresses back to confirm them.
- Use a calm, brief explanation and ask for clarification when needed.
Keep in mind
Language practice can improve confidence but does not guarantee higher pay. Check the actual requirements of a role before paying for coaching.
