Start with the essentials
Choose supplies for minor injuries and keep them in a clean, dry, accessible container. Store the kit safely away from children. A motorcycle box may become very hot, so check storage conditions before leaving medical products inside it.
What you can do
- Include sterile dressings, adhesive plasters, disposable gloves and other supplies recommended in local first-aid training.
- Check seals and expiry dates regularly and replace used items.
- Keep emergency contacts with the kit and learn how to call for help.
Keep in mind
A kit does not replace emergency care. Serious bleeding, unconsciousness, breathing difficulty or a major injury needs urgent professional help.
